Chinese market filter: can you help me translate my soup packages so that I can enjoy them?

I have purchased two soup mixes from my local Chinatown. Of course, there are no English instructions. I have taken photos of the instructions: here are the shark fin and whelk soup mix instructions and here are the mushroom soup mix instructions.

My Japanese skills could be combined with brute force it if need be, but I figured I would ask the hive mind before embarking on such a quest.

Thanks for any help, your contribution will be put to great culinary use :)

Best answer: Shark's fin soup:
1. Soak the mushroom, shark's fin, and whelk for 15 minutes, and wash the other ingredients.
2. Heat 15 cups of water in a pot to boiling. After the water boils, put in all the ingredients and chicken or lean pork, and simmer for 2 hours. Salt to taste.

Mushroom soup:
1. Soak the mushroom for 10 minutes and wash the other ingredients.
2. Heat approximately 15 cups of water in a point to boiling. After the water boils, put in all the ingredients and lean pork, and simmer for 2 hours. Salt to taste.

Best answer: Shark's fin and whelk:

Serves four (prepare with half a chicken or 12 taels of lean meat)

1. Soak the mushrooms, shark's fin and whelk for 15 minutes. Rinse the other ingredients.
2. Bring 15 bowls of water to boil in a pot. Place all ingredients, including the chicken/lean meat, into the water and cook for 2 hours. Salt to taste.

[Note: The chinese words actually say shark cartilage, not shark's fin.]

Mushroom soup:

Serves four (prepare with half a chicken or 12 taels of lean meat)

1. Soak the mushrooms for 10 minutes. Rinse the other ingredients.
2. Bring 15 bowls of water to boil in a pot. Place all ingredients, including the chicken/lean meat, into the water and cook for 2 hours. Salt to taste.
