Hotmail times out

Since I put in a Linksys Firewall/Router on my Cable connection, I cannot access Hotmail...it just times out [more inside]

I have checked the settings and updated the firmware...to no avail...HELP!!

That's the [more inside]? Seriously? What model of router? What browser? You really need to post more details than that. I have a Linksys router and I can access Hotmail just fine. Go to the Linksys forum on broadbandreports.com (aka DSLreports.com for us old-timers). That's the best site on the net for broadband help.

And you have no trouble with any other site? Are you doing anything special? I haven't used hotmail in a bit, are you trying to use POP mail on a paid account?

I have a Linksys, and I can bring up hotmail.com just fine.

Have you changed the mtu size now that you have a subnetwork.
( if not google gives lots of hits for this and related fixes )
