How to set clock on JVC stereo?

I have a JVC FS-6000 micro stereo system that I plug into my reciever to play cds. I'd like to know how to set the clock on it. I lost the manual years ago, but I can turn the clock off, but everytime I play a cd, the clock comes back on, and I have to turn the display off again. I've tried every sort of combination of buttons pressed on both the unit and the remote, but can't seem to get it to work. Anyone know how?

Best answer: Try looking here at jvc.com. You will need adobe reader to view it, but you can get a new copy of your manual for free (or just view it online).

Hint: See the section on "Using the Timers" on manuel page 13 (pdf page 16).
