Help me find this Flash game!

There's a flash game that I can't seem to find or remember the name of. However, I remember everything else about it.

It uses a 3 x 3 cell grid and the object is to align vertical pairs of the same block. The blocks have simple graphical patterns on them. Using the mouse, the player can insert new blocks on either the left or right side of each row which pushes any blocks already existing in that row to the end. The strategy is to place the blocks such that you always have a way to keep adding more blocks or the game ends.

Other things I recall: the background of the game screen was white. The patterns on the blocks seemed to have a "southwest" theme. The last time I played this was Feb 09 I believe so it's not like it's been a long time, I just can't seem to find it on the usual flash game sites. Not sure if it was removed or I'm just not seeing the preview thumbnail. Doesn't help that I don't recall the name.

Sounds a bit like Blix, except that Blix is 3x12, but perhaps it's the game you're looking for.

Best answer: Tonypa's pushori fits the bill.

Response by poster: Pushori it certainly is!

Thank you SO much, googly. I think the quest in finding this ended up taking a lot longer, and driving me more crazy, than necessary when all I needed to do was ask MeFi.

Also, thank you for Blix, and that website, bjrn. Those simple puzzle games seem to really interest me lately and Blix is similar enough to pushori to add to my list of favorites.

Great! You should check out the rest of Tonypa's stuff - lots of well-designed, simple yet deceptively difficult games.
