Who else took a bus out of town?

Can anyone recommend songs that sound like "Carol Brown" by Flight of the Conchords?

"Carol Brown" is my favorite Flight of the Conchords song just from how darn catchy it is, so I would love to hear songs that sound somewhat similar. And yes, I know the song is a reference to "50 Ways to Leave your Lover" by Paul Simon, but it doesn't have the sound I'm looking for.

I think you would like Herman Dune a lot. They're one of my favorite discoveries of the last few years.

Belle & Sebastian's "Lazy Line Painter Jane" -- she also took a bus out of town! It's not completely similar musically, but it almost instantly came to mind the first time I heard "Carol Brown."
