Mac OSX right click/context menus and "create new document"

How do I make Mac OSX right click/context menus show "create new document" and other awesome options.

I love and miss the Windows feature to create a new document from the context menu now that I use OSX. Is there any way to make OSX context menus within Finder utilize this useful feature? Or how can I customize the context menu in general?

Although it doesn't specifically have the "create new document" functionality you're asking about, my favorite Finder contextual menu add-on is definitely FinderPop. The documentation is a bit rambly and confusing but basically it lets you do things like add program-specific scripts and shortcuts, move/copy files via a folder tree right in the menu, rearrange items in the menu, change the font size, open the contextual menu without having to hold down control, and loads more. It's freeware (although the creator, Turly, does ask people to send him money for a pint if they love the program) and it has been in development since the OS 9 days so it's pretty mature and stable.

Another option, rather than relying on the context menu, is to use an application like LaunchBar or Quicksilver. Customization is what they're all about.
