Dead Cow Wrappers For Words

I've seen a couple people recently with very nice fairly stiff leather journal covers, maybe a little smaller than 8 1/2 by 11, that hold a smaller replaceable floppy journal inside. I want one. I've looked around some, but all I can find are the cheap mass-produced ones. Does the hive mind have a lead on where to get a good-quality leather cover online or in the SF bay area?

I have been looking for a quality journal as well. Here is one place I am considering: Sojourner Leatherwork.

The Quo Vadis covers are meant for their planners, but you might be able to rig something with a standard journal. The ones for the Visual-size planner are 6 x 8.25 in. Exacompta's covers are great, but only go up to 5 x 7 in.

Amazon has many to choose from:

I have one like the first one pictured; it's given me pleasure to use it for many years.
