A song for my love

Looking for a song/video because it would make my fiancee very, very happy.

There was a video we found on the internets a while back that we've misplaced. It's animated in monotone and the little characters look like flames or other abstract shapes in a city or factory type setting. At some point they all turn to color. The lyrics have the word "girls" in it and maybe "boys" and definitely "summer".

The new Frito Lay commercial w/ the little flame reminded us of it.

I know you can do it Metafilter!

Some more info about the music itself here would be helpful. Was is pop sort of music? Rock? Metal? Classical?

Was it a music video or an idependantly animated short?

that sounds familiar, maybe it's the Fanta commercial aired here in Europe that i remember. The people looked like Lego figures and then, as you mention, turn into color.

see here.

Almost certainly not what you're thinking of because there are no lyrics, but it does take place in a factory and feature characters turning from B&W to color, and I'll suggest it anyway because its wonderful: More.

Response by poster: thanks guys, the suggestions so far are good but not it.

the music was kinda kinda electronic pop, apparently the guy who produced it is a dj down in LA.

the figures where abstract, like drops or something like that and the animation was flat, not 3d like. also, I think it rains and that's what makes it turn to color.
