Synching Email Between Mac and Treo

is there any way to "sync" email between a mac and a treo or blackberry device? might it be as simple as configuring an IMAP account?

i don't want to manage my email remotely only to come into the office and have to do it all again. and if i send important email from the road, i want it in my "sent" folder on my desktop.

please say yes - i really want one of these babies.

according to palmOne, you can use IMAP with a treo's VersaMail email client. that would solve the problem of email sync.
