Name-that-song filter: Trippy jungle drum / xylophone beat?

Name-that-song-filter: I watched a high school play yesterday where a song I've heard before was used as the main theme music. I may have heard it previously in the context of binaural beats or "mind songs" or whatnot. It's entirely instrumental, although it is probably synthesized. Drums and a xylophone are used heavily, I think. I'd use words such as jungle and trippy to describe it. Thanks very much in advance!
Response by poster: It was a state festival competition entry, so I highly doubt the average Metafilter user has any knowledeg of the specific play. It was an original production.
I have contacted the sound people.

From the information you've given us, the odds of a mefite being able to guess the music approach zero. Since you've already found a way to contact members of the production, I don't know why you posted this.

But...it had drums and xylophones! Surely that narrows it down?

Response by poster: I'm assuming it's not relatively obscure, if it's come up in both my internet life and my real life. That's why I asked Mefi.

Is there any way you can talk with the theater teacher at the school to find out? Or better, since they generally get to pick the mood music, can you talk with the (likely a student) stage manager for the show?
