Flip Video on PS3

Anyone have any luck getting Flip Video clips to play on a playstation 3? It's an F260. Doesn't work over a media server or hooked up directly.

You need to convert the flip video to a ps3 compatible video format.

Handbrake is one of the many video conversion tools that will do this for you.

Response by poster: Handbrake is a great tool that I use all the time. On my machine it doesn't work for this.

I did not make this clear in the original question but I was hoping to not have to convert the files (or at least do it on the fly). Anyone have luck with a transcoding media server?

My Flip MinoHD plugs right into the PS3, is recognized, and I can play movies straight off the camera. I haven't tried streaming yet, but this might work?

http://tversity.com/ can stream my flip videos directly to the PS3, too -- although they do play a little choppy. If I select copy and move them, they play fine, without conversion.

Oh, right -- it's 2010, so this is a way old question. That didn't quite register.
