What's a good link checker for building web sites? The sites are on UNIX boxes and I'm on Mac OSX. I need to run something that's just gonna go thru the site and find any broken links and build a report. One that I can set to do this weekly would be best. Thanks!

Best answer: i use the good old w3c version, with recursive settings turned on enough to crawl the entire site. unless you want a stand-alone version...

I downloaded xenu link sleuth ages ago and used it a few times. It worked great online and on local sites, but its Windows only.

I've been extremely happy with linklint for several years, and it's easy to drop into crontab if you want it to run regularly.
