Good Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Schools in Austin?

I just moved to Austin from New York, and I have been training at Renzo's fabled school for two years.

I would like to continue training here and I've done a cursory google search for schools here, but I wanted to see if any Mefis here train in Austin, and if so, what was/is your experience?

Also are there any good Jiu Jitsu clubs here?

Best answer: There is Vandry over at Spicewood Springs and 183. I don't know much about the school, but have heard good things.

There is Austin Jiu-Jitsu in westlake. It's a small school - Dave is a Travis Tooke black belt. It's a small school. *disclaimer - I go there*

There is Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in South Austin. I don't know anything about it - but Yelp has some good reviews.

My experience at my school:

I just started about 3 months ago. I really like Dave - he's a good guy and knows his Jits - the website will show you that. However, its a very small school in Daves house where he converted the garage into a space. There are only 3 classes a week for adults and it's everyone in one class. We do lots of rolling and then a few techniques each class. The feel is very personal and you get a chance to roll with the instructor almost every class. Dave is a Black Belt, he has one brown belt at the school as well.

Send him an email - he is very geek friendly and he'd love for you to come out and roll with us for a class and see how you like it.
