"Mad Men" house in Palm Springs?

In Mad men episode 11 (the jet set) in season 2...what house is that in Palm Springs? I'm an architecture geek and desperately need to know. The best I can figure is that its the Kaufman House...but it's not quite right. I'm resigned to the fact that its some backlot set.

Best answer: Is it maybe inspired by Frank Sinatra's house, Twin Palms? I'm almost positive that set was also used as Brenda's parents' house in Six Feet Under.

Response by poster: Bingo..."The house was designed by Malibu architect Ed Niles and it was built in the late 1990's in the hills of West Malibu off of Mulholland in the Encinal/Decker Canyon area."
I think you are right. Looks pretty close.
