Is Patelco legit and okay?

Anyone have an HSA with Patelco? Thumbs up or down? I've never heard of Patelco before, but I'm not on the West Coast. It seems to get "good ratings" online, but I trust MeFites more than random online opinion.

They're a fairly well-established credit union in the Bay Area. A few people I know use them for banking, but I haven't heard them say anything about them, good or bad.

Patelco is legit. And credit unions tend to have more clued tellers and staff than BofA.

Patelco is good -- it's been my bank when I was in the US for 10 years. I got kicks logging into a bank hosted on a .org domain.

They're the major tenant in the ground floor of my company's building, totally legit. I think some coworkers even have loans and accounts with them and are pleased from what I've heard.

Pacific Telephone Co. = Pacific Bell Employees Federal Credit Union.

I have various accounts with them, although not an HSA.
I researched their HSA options some time ago and was planning to open one there when I found out I was not eligible (mainly due to differences with what the IRS considers high deductible).

Thumbs up.

Best answer: Patelco has been my bank for over a decade and they've always been great.

(But I had to Google to find out what an HSA was, so I'm an idiot.)
