Is there anywhere I can purchase and download a copy of Civilization 4 for the Mac?

I've got a jonesing for Civ, and I'd prefer to buy a copy and download it rather than hunt all over the city on a Sunday afternoon. Direct2Drive seems to not even carry it and everywhere else is, you know, a physical copy. But I want it now, because I am a child. Any ideas?

(Note to developers and publishers: this is why people pirate games, you stupid, stupid idiots.)

Best answer: They have a ton of copies at my nearest Apple Store, and probably at yours, if you don't want to do much hunting.

Best answer: The Mac version of Civ IV is published by Aspyr -- who, last I checked, doesn't offer any software via digital distribution.

(Legal and moral issues aside, I'd recommend buying Civ IV. If Aspyr goes under, Mac gamers will be in trouble.)

Steam has Civ IV, but I don't know if that's just for Windows. We have it running on our Mac, which dual boots into Windows XP.

Best of luck and happy world conquering!

Yeah, Steam only carries Windows games. I hear it runs well in Wine, though.
