Can I play CivIV mods on the mac?

Do Civilization IV mods such as Fall From Heaven and Fall From Heaven 2 work in the Mac OSX version of Civ IV?

If so, how do I install them?

This active and excellent forum would be a great place to ask -- try the "Civ4 - Macintosh" and/or "Civ4 - Technical Support" subforums.

In my experience from searching the forum linked by Perplexity, a lot of the awesome mods don't work for mac, or work hardly at all. Commence frustration and disappointment.

I suspect not, given what little I've been able to glean from the forums. Here's holding out hope for someone to come and give me good news... but not a lot of hope.
