Resources for building websites aimed at mobile/cell phones?

What are the best sources of information for someone new to building websites aimed at mobile/cell phones?

I have experience in building standard websites but I need to get up to speed on developing sites that perform well on mobile/cell phones.
There must be a lot of sites out there (or even books) that cover this area, from the basics to more advanced. What would you recommend?
