Help me stop these automatic wp posts.

Why is it, when i get a comment on my WP self hosted blog, do I get an automatic post showing the text of the email notification I get when I get a comment?

It needs to stop, I'm getting a lot of traffic lately and this is embarrassing. I have a secret email address for automatically posting, and a separate email address for receiving the email notification of a comment, but they are both on the same domain.

Best answer: Are the email addresses distinctly different? Or is one an alias of another?

Could your host be intercepting the comment-posted-email and somehow referring it to the secret address? Or maybe confusing the two?

Try using a gmail address for the comment-posted-email, and see if that makes any difference.
