White label business community software?

Over the past year I've become a diligent student of white label social networking solutions but still haven't found what I'm searching for. I'm looking for open source or affordable private label software for an affinity business network. Increasingly I think what I need is simply a combination of ask.metafilter.com and crunchbase. Any suggestions?

The closest thing I've found, minus the directory type 'crunchbase.com' aspect, is collectivex.com.

Does anyone have suggestions for other suitable solutions? I know others have posted questions looking for something to emulate ask.metafilter.com, and I'm wondering what, if anything, is out there.

Thank you hive mind!

You're attacking this problem from the Social Network side, but it's important to remember, IMO, that CrunchBase is essentially a specialized CMS. To that end, I'd suggest checking out Drupal/Joomla (you can find endless questions here wherein the Drupal vs. Joomla epic struggle is fought out) or any of the other open source/cheap CMS's that have discussions as an add-on.
