Inflatable kayakers take note

Can I glue loops on to my PVC Coleman 2 person touring kayak using pvc cement to facilitate towing a small raft behind?

Does anyone have any experience with this, or, have better google-fu than I, and can find a site with discussions on inflatables and specifically inflatable modding?

Would I be compromising the airtightness of the area I glue?

Thanks!

Best answer: Found this in a manual for Stern's inflatable kayak:

"2.1 MODIFICATIONS
Because of the possibility of interference with the factory design integrity of the kayak, owner modifications to the kayak are not recommended.
Unauthorized modifications to the kayak could compromise safety, design integrity or warranty coverage."

I know that won't stop you...just wanted to contribute!

Good luck! Inflatable kayaks are awesome! My fiance just bought one!

Why not make a hook with something like a clothes hanger that clamps on the end? It seems like it would be much easier to form a thick wire to set inside the kayak.
