House of Stairs, with books?

I am trying to find the name of a short story about a Borges-style infinite library. People find themselves in the library in various parts of it. There are many floors to the library, and some groups are climbing the stairs to find out if there is a top or a bottom to it. There's various scenes where people jump into the stairwell and fall for hundreds or maybe thousands of stories, and thus get separated from their friends, and start climbing back up. I think you can't die but can get hurt? There's a scene maybe where someone is trying to land on a particular floor?

Dreamy radio and new music

I’m trying to save my pennies but I’m also starting to enjoy music again after a long spell of being numb to it. I’m currently using the free version of Apple Music, and I also have some CDs from the nineties and aughts. I have permanently quit Spotify for reasons and have lost all the playlist I built up over the years. [more inside]

I’m chiefly thinking of her physical description. But if her characterization was changed for the movie, that would be interesting too.

Carpe Love 'Em

I would like to put together a YouTube playlist of love songs that are more in the spirit of what one might call romantic adventure rather than love. I'm looking for upbeat songs that speak of fun, hot sex, companionship, and casual affection rather than a grand passion or lifelong commitment. They can be sassy/naughty, such as "Ex's & Oh's" by Elle King, or kind and sweet, but they shouldn't be about guilt, loneliness, or sadness. What can you suggest, music mavens of MeFi?

Where do I find the actual FRESHEST memes?

This is for work. Where are the freshest memes? Trending today. Not the ones rehashed by a corporation three weeks later. If you’re naming a platform (eg TikTok, the birb app, whatever) let me know some accounts or search terms you’re using. Again, this is for work, so while I am sure I’ll encounter NSFW, racism etc, I won’t be using those. Thank you!
