Birthday Celebration

hey! it's my legal birthday (long story) and i was wondering what free stuff is still out for the reaping to celebrate my slow move towards another demographic. I'm all too legal and in search of aburdity, possible pagentry, and bow to the no string attached freebie, and there ain't no denny's anyhoo.

I think Ben & Jerry's ice cream stores will give you a free cone on your brthday. That should start you off right. Happy legal birthday!

Hooter's will make you look like a fool so that covers the absurdity and the pageantry...not sure about freebies.

Happy happy!

Where are you? Hollywood Video will give you a free rental. Most bars in America will still give you a free drink. Happy Bday!

Response by poster: most bars r all too happy even after midnight, but i am in a small relavtively half chained midwestern town right now (no starbucks!), commuting distance from pseudocivilization but i'm not free until after 8 to roam the highway.
I could make chain restaurants sing at me but i want to pick the song if i have to start the chorus myself.
i'm thinking the original "avenues and alleyways"

I think that Chipotle (McDonalds) place gives free lunch to you and three friends on your birthday - gotta show your ID though to prove it's really your Special Day.

when i was an impoverished graduate student, i used to sign up for local merchant mailing lists because it meant that every year on my birthday i got a whole bunch of junk mail with coupons good for free drinks, cookies, samples and even the occassional useless gift. i'd take the day off and get all my birthday loot.

it's a bit late for you for this year, but there's always next!

(and i'm pretty sure you're right, gleuschk)
