iChat, O iChat! Wherefore art tho O iChat?!

I deleted iChat, and would now like it back. How can I make this happen?

I'm running 10.5.4 if that matters. I found the download for iChat AV 2.1, but I'm not sure if that's the same thing. Please hope me!

Best answer: check out the custom reinstallation options here:

they instructions are for 10.4 but it should be very similar for 10.5

have you tried installing it? if you do, and then run software update, does it give you the option to upgrade ichat to version 4?
