Foreign magazines in L.A.?

Where can I find foreign fashion magazines in Los Angeles?
I've seen plenty of newsstands with a smattering of French and British editions, particularly major titles like Glamour, Elle, and Vogue. I've also seen tons of Spanish and Italian magazines.
However, I can't seem to find Australian or Canadian magazines at all; nor have I spotted a wide selection of Japanese titles. I'd also love to find publications like France's Biba and the UK's She and Eve.
I know the Fashion Bookstore at the California Market Center downtown carries a lot of foreign magazines, but the store is only open 9-5 during the week, so it's terribly inconvenient.
Any other ideas where I can find a broad selection of foreign magazines? (Magazine recommendations are welcome as well.)

Japanese supermarkets usually have at least a small selection of Japanese magazines. Marukai and Mitsuwa are two good places to look. I believe there is a bookstore in the same building as the Mitsuwa in Torrance, so they should have plenty of magazines. (Sorry this post was just about Japanese mags.)

I would look around the fashion district, which is in/around the old part of downtown. If it's still there, seek the Russian brewery for some beer and awesome sandwiches while you're at it.

You might try the newsstand on the east side of Cahuenga south of Hollywood.

There's a large newsstand on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica that carries such magazines.
