Dividers between same-day Blogger posts

I'm using Blogger. I'd like to have some kind of divider in between posts I make on the same day, but I don't want this divider to appear anywhere else, like between one day's posts and another. Is there a simple way to do this?

how often do you post more than once in a day? can you just insert a horizontal line at the end of your 2nd, 3rd and so on posts?

Seconding the above. Since you know when you're making a 2nd, 3rd post on any given day, why not just end it with an hr yourself?

Because presumably at the end of the post body there's a Blogger-inserted line with a permalink, comments link, etc.

Response by poster: loiseau has got it -- that's the problem. I want the divider to appear after the permalink/comments/labels but before the heading of the next (i.e., the previous) post, if it comes on the same day.

Are you hosted on Blogger, or are you using their software on your own site? If you are in fact hosted on Blogger, do they let you edit the style sheets? If they do, therein lay your answer- provided you know CSS. If not, post a link to your blog and we'll get cracking.

If you look at my blogger blog (self-link), I have a little faint double hyphenated line around the whole text, and marginalia, of every individual post. Feel free to rip that off from my stylesheet (http://howithappened.com/styles2.css). I think I stole it from fimoculous some time in 2003.

Self, Blogger does allow editing of stylesheets. But looking at the list of Blogger tags, there are "per post" and "per date" footer but no "per post but not per date" footer. Electric Water Kettle, you could probably figure out some way to use adjacent selectors to have a "per post" footer be rendered as display:none if it is immediately followed by the tag for your "date header" blogger tags, but that wouldn't work in many browsers.
