What happened to that giant Michael Jackson Robot that was being built to shoot lasers at planes in the desert near Las Vegas. I haven't heard about that recently and I really want that to happen- any new info, o mighty hivemindius?

The time for building it will be easy to know, for Mankind shall become as the Great Old Ones; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and reveling in joy.

Seriously, though, it's never going to be built. It's about as likely as someone building a gigantic robotic statue of Dick Cheney that shoots at planes.

Ask Andre Van Pier yourself, I guess. Doesn't seem to have been anything since the first highly credible announcement mooted through Page Six.
