iPhone Performance issues with the most recent version of Summerboard and 1.1.3?
Back in the 1.0.1 days (I think) I ran into some horrible slowdowns and lockups. I've avoided Summerboard(and customize) ever since.
A quick google search reported similar performance issues back in the day-how are things currently? There seems to be a LOT of Summerboard themes in the installer so I'd imagine its quite heavily used. Last thing I want is to compromise the performance of my phone.

I customized my iphone thrice...1.01....1.1.3 (and one in between.)
When my phone crashed too much using safari, mail and the actual PHONE....I'd had it. The customizations are really cool....but the moment you can't call without rebooting your phone....it's too frustration.

The new Summerboard with 1.1.4 (not 1.1.3) works just fine.
HOWEVER, an iPhone will ALWAYS work best with the least amount of changes. Summerboard, by its very nature, changes things you don't need to change.
You should definitely update to 1.1.4. Try out Summerboard for a week. If you don't like it, restore back to 1.1.4 and never install Summerboard again.

I stopped using Summerboard because it seemed way too buggy to be worthwhile. Some people don't care if their phone crashes so long as the icons look funky.
