Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset - How to use as a Windows sound device?
So I picked up a Platronics Voyager 510 bluetooth headsetup only -- not the USB setup, no bluetooth receiver, no phone adapter. The headset paired with my blackberry, and my Dell D620 perfectly (I am using a Microsoft Bluetooth adapter that came with a bluetooth keyboard/mouse). I installed PerSonoCall from Platronics website -- but it seems as though this device is *only* usable on my PC if I buy Platronics USB Bluetooth adapter. Is that the case? That seems REALLY silly. What bluetooth headset will work with a PC and a blackberry, and show up as a standard audio device in Windows.

At that point, I can simply enter control panel/sound and choose Bluetooth A/V as the SOUND INPUT device.
Took me a while to figure it out, but I did. Now I can use the bluetooth headset through skype, which is pretty cool.
