Recently published Mesopotamian history

Looking for recently published (in the last 10 years) sources for Sumerian and Old Babylonian history.
I just finished reading a quite good general history focused on the city of Babylon itself (as opposed to Mesopotamia or the middle east in general). However, it was published in the mid 80s and I would be very interested to know about any more recent findings. Especially concerning anything older than or including the Kassite period.
Scholarly works are fine. I took rather a lot of history in college and have kept up my interest and reading in several fields. However, I (alas) cannot read the primary written sources directly (cuneform writing of Sumerian, Akkadian etc...).

Maybe this might help. The Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago.

Just did a quick search in the OAISTER database. Here are a few of the works I thought best fit your question:
The collapse of a complex state: A reappraisal of the end of the First Dynasty of Babylon, 1683--1597 B.C. (Only available to Columbia U. affiliates, but you could probably e-mail the Digital Commons contact person, the author or his advisor and get a copy.)
Astronomy and the Fall of Babylon
A new analysis of the royal annals of Shalmaneser III (A bit older than you asked for, but probably relevant.)
The Kassite period and the period of the Assyrian kings (This is far older than you asked for, but it looked really interesting.)
