OS9 Arrows

Dumb little OS 9 question. I had to do a system reinstall, and ever since, the OS has decided to inform me when I'm clicking or holding the mouse button via a small down arrow in the upper right corner of the screen. I don't want this. It annoys me. How do I turn it off?

ti's been a long time since I used OS 9...but it sounds like something from universal access control panel.

Also, the software for the Kensington mice does something like this, too. If you have it, check the prefs.

Response by poster: Mo, you got it. Nice job!

There were some stray Kensington extensions that weren't disabled - my predecessor here used a Kensington mouse, and perhaps he enjoyed Incessant Blinking Down Arrow.

Thanks!

The blinking down arrow is because the Kensington software lets you set buttons to "click lock" and they don't want you to forget you locked the button down.
