Help me find a good Midi Driver download for Windows XP.

My girlfriend recently found a pile of old Learning Company games in her mother's apartment. Feeling nostalgic, we've tried to get them to work in her new computer, which is operating with Windows XP. Alas, our every attempt is blocked with a message telling us to install a Midi Driver. I need some help from the hivemind here; I need to find a good download site for an appropriate Midi Driver and instructions for the installation process.

Thanks all!

Almost certainly not going to work. "Midi driver" is code for "8 bit sound blaster sound card" (we're up to 64+ bits now), which you don't have in your comp. The programs can't recognize or use newer sound cards.
I'd look on the software websites (or google) for patches to run on XP.

I suggest you delve into the wonderful world of DosBox, a DOS emulator that should let you use old software much more easily - I seem to recall it emulates Soundblaster / Gravis Ultrasound, so you should be in luck.

(I should note that you didn't make clear if this software is for Windows or DOS - I assumed DOS because that error message, and what lrodman said, sounded relevant. If it is actually old Windows software, then ignore my answer.)

Yeah, assuming these are DOS games, DOSBox is definitely the answer.
