I'm assuming you want US-centric political blogs?

This Modern World by Tom Tomorrow (he has a political comic strip of the same name.)
Has no pretense of unbiasness, but zings everyone.

I like Daily Kos because it has active, commenting lefty patronage like MeFi. http://www.dailykos.com

These might be obvious, but Talking Points Memo, Eschaton and Political Animal (along with Daily Kos) are daily visits for me.

Half blog, half real news source, I like the Washington Post's daily White House Briefing.

If you have any interest in expanding beyond the political monoculture expressed above, you could do worse than read Asymmetrical Information or Andrew Sullivan.com; Kevin Drum's blog on the Washington Monthly which I will always think of as CalPundit; Daniel Drezner's excellent work; the political component of James Lileks' The Bleat which he claims is not a blog; and the always provocative Mickey Kaus.

Political Wire is a leftist news aggregator.

Being fair and balanced, on the right there's the old standbys of Andrew Sullivan and Glenn Reynolds, as well as the Wall Street Journal OpinionJournal blog.

I can't read talking points memo without also reading instapundit. Both blogs make me mad sometimes, sometimes I agree with the the authors, but honestly I've been a bit disappointed in that both guys seem to have stopped posting as concerned citizens and are often almost parroting their respective party talking points.

I like it when Glenn gets all pro-science and pro-gay marriage, and when Joshua points out stupid things democrat senators have done, but lately those moments have been few and far between.

Pandagon has the funniest blog writing I've seen, and those guys are only about 20.

There's also Tapped, the blog of the American Prospect. One of their writers, Matthew Yglesias, has his own blog.

There are three blogs on TNR's site.
