Graaavy Traain!!!

Where can I find online Gravy Train commercials?

Remember those dog food commercials that had the tiny little wagon pulled by a team of horses that would race across the living room while the wagon master would yell "Graaaaavy Traaaaain!" to the utter delight of the dogs in the commercial?

Am I remembering this correctly? Was there such a commercial? If so, was it for Gravy Train dog food? Where can I view/download a video of this commercial?

Thanks!

Chuck Wagon was the brand.

Yes, it was Chuck Wagon, from Ralston Purina.

Am I the only one who was terrified by those commercials?

There was even an Atari game based on them.

I wasn't terrified at all. In fact they made it look so good that I actually wanted to eat the dog food. They poured that water in and it turned to gravy and looked all chocolaty and yummy.

I don't know where you can get the video of the Chuck Wagon one but one of the Gravy Train ones is here. And look at that lady using a soup ladle - she knows she wants to eat some.

Response by poster: cashman - That gravy looks delicious! Nice and robust and beefy, and they are wasting it on canines!

I can't believe Youtube doesn't have a Chuckwagon commercial. I found one from the 50s but it didn't have the little wagoneer.

There actually was such a brand as Gravy Train, which made its own gravy. And, like you, I used to mix it up with Chuck Wagon.
