BookFilter: Hackers, driving Blazers, in Colorado!

BookFilter: Tom Clancy novel from ~10 years ago ... Help me remember the name!
I'm trying to remember the book I read ~10 years ago by Tom Clancy. There are only a few things I remember about the book.
*One of the characters is a computer hacker.
*He lives in a remote Colorado cabin.
*He has a few computers on a satellite hookup that continually pilfer money from bank transactions at various banks around the world.
*He drives a Chevy Blazer, but not an ordinary one. I remember that he said it was the body of an old, junker Blazer on top of a newest model Blazer.
Unfortunately, for the life of me, I can’t pry anymore information out. I know I'm just making an excuse, but compounding the fact that I've read nearly all of Tom Clancy's novels, he does like to introduce a bunch of characters and mini plotlines.
Help me, hive mind!

Response by poster: Jupiter: Been there, done that. I'm afraid that the parts I remember are only a small, insignificant portion of the plotline. I am thinking that it was one in the Op-Center series.

I don't think it's one of the Jack Ryan / John Clark novels... I've read all those up to and including Rainbow Six (plus Red Storm Rising), some more than once, and it does not ring any bells so I think it's an Op-Center or Net Force one (none of which I've read).

I would concur with fearfulsymmetry that is not one of the main Tom Clancy novels.

Could it be Clancy's Without Remorse? (Although it's an International Harvester Scout, not a Blazer).

Are you sure it isn't a John Sandford novel? Sounds like his Kidd character. I'll keep looking, though.

On re-read, the rest of the description of Without Remorse doesn't sound like what you're looking for.

Response by poster: I don't think I've read anything by John Sanford. While Without Remorse was good, you're right, it isn't the one I'm looking for. Thanks so far!

I immediately thought of Clear & Present Danger. I don't believe it is what you are looking for but it does have some common elements just with two different characters:
cabin in the woods - Cortez
satellite phone/computer - Clark
chevy blazer - Cortez

It's not any of the Sandford books I've ever read & I'm pretty sure I've read them all.
