How can I get the following report from Fair Isaac or other channels? --- > "Ten Riskiest Businesses To Start"

I am looking for a copy of the Fair Isaac report quoted in the following Forbes magazine article.

I have emailed Fair Isaac half a dozen times but nobody seems to be interested in responding to a small fry like me.

I have offered to pay but apparently they are not interested in my money.

And Forbes magazine is of no help too.

Ten Riskiest Businesses To Start

Maureen Farrell, 01.18.07, 4:30 PM ET

Please advise.

Thank you very much.

Not exactly what you want, but a good "list":

Assuming it's an option you haven't already dismissed, your local library would probably more than willing to help you.

Response by poster: I have talked to a couple of librarians in the business section. Unfortunately they haven't got a clue.

Reading the article, it doesn't sound like there is a specific report, rather that Maureen got to chatting with her contacts at Fair Issac and they gave her some tidbits to put in an article. You could probably commission Fair Isaac to make you such a report, but that's probably not what you're looking for.

Response by poster: trevyn ,

You might be right.

But it seems Fair Isaac has done quite a bit of work for Maureen in order to write this article and somebody somewhere inside Fair Isaac has a file or files or reports documenting the research results.

Why don't you just email Ms. Farrell and ask? Her address is right there on the Forbes website. Most likely thing is she'd be able to give you contact information for someone at Fair Isaac who might be able to help you. Say you're a journalist and you're writing an article; you don't have to mention it's for your own blog, or MetaFilter's front page.
