UK size mattress in NA

Where can I get a UK-sized twin (single) mattress? Vancouver B.C. preferably but I'll take an online order as well.

I recently bought an antique twin (single) bed for my 2 yr old son. The bed originated in england and has the UK size (36x76 in) rather than the NA sizing (39x76).

IKEA might be an option. I've no idea if they carry different than standard NA sizes but it's at least worth going over with a tape meauser. It looks like they've got one in Richmond which didn't seem too far.

If nothing seems suitable there you could cut a foam mattress to size. Searching will bring up information on people who've made their own memory foam mattresses so I think it's definitely possible to make one yourself.

Surplus Herbys in Kamloops will cut foam mattresses to any size you want. I don't see the foam shop in their online store but they have an 800 number.

If you can't find a foam place to do the cutting the best DIY way to cut thick foam is with an electric bread knife.
