Why does Address Book pop in unexpectedly?

Addressbook seems to be launching for no reason- Virus?

Every now and then I notice the app Address Book pop open on my Mac Book Pro. I am not sure why- at first I thought it had something to do with iPhone but now I'm not so sure. I took a look at the console and noticed that this command line was occuring over and over and over...

CIMOM reading config file: /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/OpenWBEMServer.bundle/etc/openwbem/openwbem.conf
P-XSyscalls::_PPC_X86_SYSCALL(kill) not doing kill with -1

A. Does anyone know what it means?
B. Does anyone know why Address Book keeps popping open on a random basis?

OpenWBEM is part of the implementation of Apple Remote Desktop. Is it possible someone is remote-desktop-ing into your machine and mucking with Address Book?

Response by poster: hattifattener-
Interesting... I stopped Remote Desktop in the sharing prefs but this seems unlikely as no one has had any access to this machine besides myself.
