evolutionist baseball cap

I saw someone on the street recently wearing a black baseball cap that had "evolutionist" written on it. I've searched online since then to see where I could buy one, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone know where I can get one?

I took a good look, but I did not see anything. It will be kind of hard to find it on Google or other search engines. But I had an idea. Doing a search for Custom Hats will bring you a lot of sites that allow you to submit a design and get a custom hat. The benefit to this is that you have a hat that nobody else will have. The draw back is that some of these sites charge a "set-up fee." You CAN find one without setup fees, just expect to pay around $20-$30.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but they're in the ballpark.

Here's one that's kind of humorous...

Sorry, no dice, how about:

Evolution hat (ad for winemaker?).

End creationism hat

I don't know, but apparently Randy Olson has one (third paragraph). Don't know how you feel about asking him where he got it, though.

You could make your own at CafePress for about $14. Looks like the text would be on an oval patch, though.

You might look in the phone book for screen printing shops. Many of them have a small storefront where you can get custom items made or embroidered, and the cost is not too high.

Neighborhoodies do custom caps, they are military rather than baseball style though.

I think the NEOUCOM Walking Whale was mentioned in a post on the blue? Apparently, a professor at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine discovered the first known fossil of a whale that walked and also swam. It was named ambalocetus natans. Now this same professor is a coach of the school's football team. Football playing pharmacists? I think that's the real discovery. They have t-shirts and sweatshirts for sale. Many sizes and colors are sold out. (PDF) Sales form.

I think it's a cool logo and the context makes it perfect. If you're set on a cap you might be able to get permission to use their logo on a Cafe Press product.

Heh. The "Evolutionist" caps were part of a set of baseball caps sent out to Microsoft partners -- each hat had a different 'role' on a micrsoft team -- Evangalist, Evolutionist, (synonym for do-er), and a few others. I can't remember what all of them were, but they all started with E.

Response by poster: Thanks, everyone. I actually contacted Randy Olson and asked him about it. He said that you can order them from Talking Evolution Productions:

Talking Evolution Productions
5254 Melrose Ave., Ste. D-112
Los Angeles, Ca. 90038

The cap costs $20.

And thanks for all the other suggestions here.
