Missing Database

Help me find a missing database.

I completed a backup of an important (but fairly small) Lotus Approach database. Now all I can find in the original or the backup are the .adx files.

How do I get the rest of the file?

It would help to answer your question if you posted the OS you are using, and the backup product. If you're using Windows XP:

Are you sure you just don't have Windows Explorer set to not display hidden or system files, and that your backup is stored with a hidden files extension? Open Explorer, go to Tools -->Folder Options -->View tab, and select show hidden files, and unselect hide protected operating system files.
