I'll get to drive ambulances!!!

What more do I need to do and know in order to pass an Ontario class F drivers licence test?

I need to get an Ontario F class licence (Regular bus maximum of 24 passenger capacity and ambulances) as a requirement for a short-term job I'm taking (leading a tour). I'll need the licence by mid-June.

I'm not finding the Ministry of Transportation website that helpful. Yes I know I need to buy The Official Bus Handbook and book a test. I've called a testing centre and have also figured out that I'll need to get a medical report completed, pay $85.00, pass a written test and pass the "practical" test (aka road test) before I get the licence.

So, am I missing anything?

If you've got your F class, can you tell me anything about the test? What I should be aware of? Watch out for?

Any other tidbits to share?

One gotcha is you need a separate endorsement for air if the vehicle is so equipped. The vast majority of smaller buses have juice brakes but if the unit your driving has air brakes you'll need the air endorsement.
