Help me see '21 Up America'!

Where and when can I see 21 Up America (aka 21 Up in America)?

I saw 14 Up in America when it came out, and I've been eagerly awaiting 21 Up America for at least seven years now. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that 21 Up was no longer "still in production" (as specified by IMDB) until it was too late, and therefore missed the screenings that happened last year. (Still kicking self.)

It's apparently going to be shown in Chicago in Oct. 2007, but I'd love not to have to wait until then. I've found info suggesting that it's going to be aired on The Discovery Channel, but nothing extremely specific about when, or whether this is still planned. (ref 1 - see last paragraph; ref 2 - must be reg'd at IMDB)

I really really want to see the film. (Preferably in the US or Canada; North East US if possible, but I don't think I can be so picky). I'm hoping that someone out there has some info, or that there's some search term or resource that I'm overlooking. Help!

I'd also love to have a copy, but I think that's an impossibility.

The company that made it, Granada America, is here:

15303 Ventura Boulevard, Building C, Suite 800
Sherman Oaks, CA 91403

Main : (818) 455-4600
Fax : (818) 455-4702

I would maybe call them and and ask: they make documentaries and are unlikely to get enormous amounts of fans calling them up. I imagine that they'd at least try to help you. And, er, if you... have a blog, or something else that can pass as a media outlet? You could maybe talk your way into a screener copy. If not, the company is more likely than anyone else to know of any upcoming screenings.

I couldn't find anything relating to it airing. The only screening info I found was this:

Shown at SILVERDOCS:AFI/Discovery Channel Documentary Festival (Closing Night) June 13-19, 2006.

Which, er, being in the past, isn't very helpful for you, but still.

Response by poster: Thanks for the suggestion -- I actually did try emailing them, but never heard back. probably should have mentioned that :) But it seems like a good idea to try again, esp. with the phone rather than email.

No one's got anything else on this? Nada?
