I need to see a doctor in Boston!

Looking for recommendations for good neuro-specialists / doctors in Boston area.
I'm a college student in Boston and I have a pretty bad case of sciatica. I've gotten surgery once before, which fixed it for about 6 months. I'd like to see a doctor or chiropractor, but I have no idea where to look. Any recommendations on a good doctor? Good being: nice, and/or specializes in this sort of thing, or at least is willing to prescribe some pain meds until it is fixed.

I have no specific recommendations for you, but you can search for physicians by speciality at the referral sections (to which the hyperlinks lead) of these Boston hospitals (all three are leading affiliates of Harvard Medical School):posted by ericb at 9:43 AM on December 6, 2006
Another non-specific answer/queston:
Have you seen a Primary Care Physician at your school yet? Because they will have connections with one or more specialists who can become a temporary or permanent solution. You may need to go through this sort of route anyway to get anything to be covered by insurance.
(Whatever you may think of your school's typical health services, specialists that you are referred to through the school can be top-notch practitioners.)

You might check out acupuncture. It can be very effective for sciatica. Boston should be crawling with acupuncturists- the New England School of Acupuncture is right in Newton. They have links to grads on their site and you can get a cheap treatment in the student clinic (which may still be in Watertown).
