What's a good free, semi-anonymous Web hosting service that isn't quick to take down content? I want to post some satirical artwork I created, but not get canned because of some overreactive corporate legal department. I've heard Dutch sites are good for this. Any thoughts? And does Google do a good job indexing free servers?

I've heard good things about nearlyfreehosting.net. From their beliefs page:
For everyone to have free speech, they need to be able to afford it. They need to be able to really afford it, which means affording it on their own, without depending on government subsidies or corporate sponsorship. And they can, because this stuff just isn't that expensive.

For everyone to have free speech, they need to be able to use it. Really use it. That means saying what they wish to say without fear of interference, reprisal, or censorship.

NearlyFreeSpeech.NET makes web hosting affordable and usable for everyone.
(I'm not affiliated with them in any way, shape, or form)

Ive seen plenty of dubious content on blogger acounts. As long as its just satiriacal and not illegal. I cant see them pulling it.

Hi hodyoaten: what's the nature of the artwork (e.g. political)? How big are the files?

I have a nearlyfreespeech account. I put $10 in it at the beginning of summer, and I recently got the $5 "account low" warning. If you're not getting much traffic, they're effectively free.

Are you just talking about an image-hosting service or a full web-hosting? There are quite a few places to post images where anything goes. I use Fileanchor which unfortunately seems to be down right now.

I'm looking for something too, for my mp3 blog. Any recommendations for media file hosting? I was using ezarchive.com but they changed their whole deal and now they appear to be blowing it.
