Does anyone know who the girl in Men Without Hats' "Safety Dance" video is?

Heh. This is less than helpful, but it is from menwithouthats.com:

The latest confirmed news says that the dwarf in the video Safety Dance is Mike Edmonds ("Return of the Jedi", "Time Bandits", "Harry Potter"). No one knows who the girl is. Someone e-mailed us to tell us that he had kept all the props from the video shoot!

So . . . yeah.

OMG... I was wondering the same thing a few weeks ago. I don't even have VH1 Classic... I was simply wondering about it.

Isn't she the same girl from the "Pop Goes The World" video? I figured she was genuinely affiliated with the band...

Here's the video on YouTube (they also have the "Pop Goes the World" video). According to this, she's "a good friend of Bananarama's."

I knew a girl once who reminded me of the blonde girl in that video. I called her the safety dance girl. But she never knew what I was talking about. We picked berries together behind her house. Her uncle was going to make a pie with them. I didn't see her after that until a couple years later me and some friends went to hear some band play. This was when grunge was just getting big and this band was still trying to play 80's metal. So there wasn't alot of people there. But she was. I went up and said "Hi, do you remember me?" And she said "Yeah, I remember you." Then she walked away. I hate 80's metal and I hate grunge. But I still love to safety dance. And I miss my safety dance girl.
Geez that story made me sad. :(
