Galub Jamun Recipe Please!

Anybody got a good recipe for galub jamun? The "Urban Peasant" recipe that keeps popping up on Google isn't quite what I'm looking for. As authentic as you've got, please and thank you.

Best answer: You'd probably have better luck if you spelled it "gulab jamun", I think.

Best answer: The more conventional spelling "gulab jamun" might have better Google luck.

Response by poster: Yes, it did. Thanks and thanks. But I'd still be interested to have any recipes folks here might know.

My husband calls these his "Little Balls of Joy". Sorry, I know that's not helpful at all, but it cracks me up every time.

This one has pictures and they look exactly the same as the local South Indian place. It seems to be missing the rosewater syrup that makes it extra addictive, though.

(I have not made these, but I have made other recipes from the site and enjoyed them. The fire alarm here does not like it when I deep fry.)
