Name That Canadian Indie Rock Song

Losing my mind trying to find an oldish song by a defunct Canadian indie band whose title is some variation on [Woman's name][Couture-related][Negative occurrence] that would be like "Sally's Denim Disaster" or "Mary's Fashion Failure".

How about High Class in Borrowed Shoes by Max Webster? It’s pretty old, though.

Do you have a guess at the year or decade, by chance?

Do you remember anything else about it? Tempo, instruments, general style? Yeah rough timeframe would help too

Response by poster: The song has very much the 90s alt vibe. The band would be somewhere around an Eric's Trip/Thrush Hermit level of fame, maybe a skootch lower, but I don't think they were one of the East Coast groups, possibly BC.

Can't remember much for lyrics, I feel like the theme is someone thrift shopping to look cool and it backfires but I could be extrapolating too much from the title I can't remember. At one point near the end of the song for a middle eighth/bridge the singer shouts "Sally Ann!" and there's some guitar noodling.

Response by poster: Goddamnit that was three hours I won't get back, found it. Thank you both so much!

I found another one that could have been it, Jackie Dressed in Cobras by the New Pornographers.

I’m glad you found your song. Three hours is nothing - these things often haunt me for days

I’ve never heard this Sally Ann song before so thank you for the introduction.
