Printer prints large text

I had a page of text from my computer that I wanted a hard copy of. Single page. I print commands from

my moto android phone...Issues with direct printing from computer to printer. Phone method works fine...until I tried printing out my desired page of text. The printer worked, but the letters and words were large, like 1/3 inch high. I saw no way on phone to correct the size of print. Should I be looking on the printer for a way to resize the text? First time this has happened.

Maybe install a driver for that printer? Maybe print from another app, after loading your text file into that app, maybe by cut/paste?

Android usually prefers you to print through the Printer Maker's own app if you got to a relatively current Android version. I have a Brother printer (and use a Pixel 6 now on Android 15), and their app is what I installed on my phone. If you're not in range of the printer you can still print to PDF and print the PDF at home.

If you can print it as PDF (PDF Printer or similar where your printer[s] are listed when you click print or maybe in file -> export or save as) you should be able to open that pdf anywhere and it'll look the same. If it still looks jacked on the PDF after I'd take a look around printer settings for page size etc to look for anything that looks unusual..
