Help me find my favourite boots, or a good replacement

I own and adored Palladium’s Waterproof Baggy boots (these ones, note the blue tongue logo). It looks like Palladium no longer makes this style and mine have worn through the sole. I’m looking to repair or replace them. Snowflakes inside…

I’m pretty sure I can’t get them resoled because they were built waterproof and I don’t think? they have a “welted” sole.

I have great Icebug boots for when it’s snowy or icy and I’m outdoors. I need a pair for when it’s chilly but dry, or rainy but not cold, or when I’m mostly indoors on a winter day out. I loved the Palladiums because unlike most men’s boots they had a minimal, lightweight construction and a very flexible sole — I like to roll through my foot and feel the ground, most men’s winter boots are like rigid concrete blocks. The style was also great, a black seven-hole boot is super versatile and the flip-down upper meant they could pass for sneakers in a pinch.

I am now super annoyed because I saved up for new boots and now face a brutal stupid likely-pointless shopping trip, or endless online trawling, and so the most likely outcome is now not having boots this winter. Help me out if you have ideas!

- is a resole of my Palladiums possible while maintaining the waterproofness?

- can anyone find a real source for these online? (Size 10 or 10.5) There are lots of scam sites.

- any recommendations for a lightweight, waterproof (at least the lower, if not the upper), not-insulated or barely-insulated, flexible boot? I don’t mind wearing women’s styles. I prefer black colourways.

There is only one model of sneaker I can wear, and it was discontinued. I set up an eBay alert for it in my size. One pops up a few times a year.
