How do I install Minecraft on my son's android tablet

I want to install Minecraft on my son's android tablet which I have restricted with famikylink. When I go into thebplaybstire on his tablet I don't see Minecraft. I don't know why. How do I basically say "OK here I am I'm the parent. I want to do this. Please let me make this exception and install this."

Best answer: If you haven't done the "kid requests app, parent approves it" process before, the way it works is the kid clicks Install in the Play Store and then it asks them if they want to send a request to your device or "do it in person" (ie let you log into their device to authorise it). But to do this they have to be able to see the app in the store in the first place.

What happens if you click on this Play Store link while on his tablet?

On my (parent) Family Link app, I can set age rating limits for my kid's Play Store. Do you have that set to something below 7 (the age rating for Minecraft)? If so you could bump up the restriction, install it, and then lower the restriction again (it just filters what they can see in the store, I don't think it affects already-installed apps).
